		<description><![CDATA[Thank you, Jane!  I love that you commented on putting the horse also in a more stable and predictable situation.  As a side note, this particular school horse is noted for forcefully ducking his head when the rider stops, taking the reins out of the rider&#039;s hands to give himself a break.  During this session, he kept his head still and level, and allowed and/or helped us to work on the tapping.  Our animals definitely benefit when we achieve a state of greater coherence, don&#039;t they?]]></description>

Wonderful article! You really tuned in to Sarah&#039;s need for no eye contact. If it were not for our ability to develop and use weapons, man would be a prey animal and subject to all the conditions and signals of a prey animal. Also, realizing the need to take the pressure off of Sarah was so perceptive on your part. It served to also put the horse in a more stable and predictable situation which was a boost for everyone&#039;s confidence level. How satisfying it must be to do the work you do!]]></description>
