About Us

EFTfree.net was created by four experienced and passionate EFT practitioners: Lynne Shaner, Jade Barbee, Carna Zacharias-Miller and Betty Moore-Hafter. We wanted to build an educational, egalitarian and largely non-commercial EFT resource that would support all explorers of EFT in creative ways. EFTfree.net is committed to keeping our focus firmly on core EFT skills and the individualized ways in which people are sharing them.

Our editor’s group operates by consensus, a process of coming to mutual agreement in accordance with our shared values, mission and bylaws. As we mature, we fully expect our group and our site to grow and expand in service to our mission (right). Latest News: EFTfree.net welcomes EFT Practitioner Ange Finn (bio below).

EFTfree.net benefits from Lynne’s passionate, intuitive EFT abilities as well as her publishing expertise, which she brings to us from her years at the Smithsonian Institution. Now Director of Praxis, Wellness in Life + Work, as well as a certified AAMET EFT Practitioner, Trainer and also a hypnotherapist, Lynne lives and works in Washington D.C. where she helps clients dispel childhood trauma and overcome limiting beliefs, and also shares EFT successfully with the business world and medical communities. Lynne is currently pursuing her PhD in mind-body medicine.

An experienced Emotional Wellness Coach integrating EFT and Silvia Hartmann’s Events Psychology, Carna specializes in skillfully addressing childhood trauma issues from her private practice in Tucson, Arizona.

Ange Finn is a certified AAMET EFT Practitioner in Houston, TX. Ange has studied and used energy techniques for personal growth for 35 years, and is an equestrienne and writer. After discovering EFT for equestrian competition, Ange began professional practice in 2010. In addition to helping clients achieve greater wellbeing by releasing stress and healing past trauma, Ange specializes in working with riders.

Our Mission

EFTfree.net is a virtual library sharing the art and practice of EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques). We are a growing resource of educational materials for EFT students and teachers, including EFT articles from enthusiastic users from around the world. We also provide material support for EFT Training Workshops that teach to agreed-upon AAMET guidelines, and we are committed to sharing and promoting core EFT skills.

How Can I Get Involved?

There are several ways to help contribute to the resources available through EFTfree.net. One way is to writeup an EFT session or a creative idea having to do with your experience of tapping - and submit it to us. Our weekly email readership is growing and has over 1,250 subscribers who appreciate how others are using tapping. Click here to become a subscriber. If you dont hear from us, check your spam folder for a confirmation email.

Another way to get involved is to share the EFT Free Manual or simply steer EFT students and practitioners to the articles and educational resources found here. We look forward to developing a whole library of EFT skills and strategies for each level of learning. For example, a whole page on The Movie Technique will be available as a training companion to show students the ins and outs of this useful visual EFT strategy.

Have you come across any studies or unique articles involving EFT, mindfulness or other meridian energy therapies? Make us aware of them as you find them, and we will link to them on our site.

EFT Articles & Perspectives

We recognize that by sharing original EFT articles, we also promote visibility for our contributors, many of whom are passionate and talented EFT professionals. It is our intention to offer EFT students of all stripes the space to share their ideas, skills and experience, and we intend to do this best by keeping the site informational, educational, transparent, and largely non-commercial.

Structure of EFTfree.net

In our presentation, materials and interactions we hope to highlight ownership of the EFT process by all, and we trust that our contributors words and deeds will inspire further interest in exploring all they have to offer. We look forward to watching how this approach helps facilitate bringing EFT to a wider audience. We also look forward to expanding both our non-profit, service-oriented arms as well as a for-profit, educational componant (coming soon). We promote standards for EFT training laid out by the AAMET, and we have designed EFTfree.net to reflect our mission and capture the spirit of emotional freedom.
