The predominant feelings that people hold within themselves throughout their childhood affect the development and perpetuation of issues. In EFT, we tackle all the specific events thoroughly from childhood that may have led to these beliefs of being undeserved, unloved and unworthy. In Geo-Specific EFT, we also look at the cultural context in which these beliefs developed.
Several of my clients were able to stop the constant need to diet or food restrict after clearing a pre-teen incident where body hatred began. It is these incidents and negative beliefs about ourselves that educate (whether we are aware of it or not) our present behaviors with food. Truly, love heals all.
