www.radicaltruth.au
Australia

I was recently talking with a lady on the phone who was complaining that a man in the house she was staying in was “demon possessed” and trying to kill her with his psychic attacks. She related that over some months he was keeping her awake with his music and movement around the house and that her life had become hell. Interestingly she was unable to recall ever having had a simple conversation with him where she had requested that he be considerate of her. Her only response to that inquiry from me what that she must have told him and that her communications tended to be quiet and low key. She had no trouble though in recalling exploding with curses towards him and being generally hostile in his presence.

“I Surrogate Tapped for Her”

As she wasn’t open or willing to embrace the idea of tapping, I just surrogate tapped for her through our conversation – mostly on the side of the hand for reversal. I figured if I could get her to even slightly acknowledge some responsibility there would be improvement.

I asked what she wanted from this individual and her answer was along the lines of wanting him to be appreciative (of having been given a house to stay in). She was somewhat willing to address how she hadn’t appreciated him. Turned out she would lie in bed foregoing using the bathroom if he was near and wishing that he didn’t exist. Basically wishing he was dead.

When I asked her how what she was doing to him was any different than what she was accusing him of – there was a very long pause down the phone line that went on forever and then she changed the subject. We don’t like to give up our stories that easily. What she saw and partially admitted to seems to have resolved the situation somewhat even if she couldn’t bring herself to fully own it. Some responsibility is better than none. Less painful anyway.

Reminded me of a time I was swapping sessions with another practitioner and that night waking up with her screaming psychically in my face. I wanted her recognition of what a great practitioner I was, but I was unwilling to accord that to her or myself. After seeing that, there were no further attacks.

Acknowledging My Responsibility

Another time was with a man I was also swapping sessions with. He was more sophisticated and would attack through a dream state and I’d wake in horror yelling his name. Once I saw that I was wanting him to look after me so I wouldn’t have to do it myself he is unable to touch me though the potentiality still exists whenever I have dealings with him. It can only be actualized though if I become irresponsible.

It is reported that the Buddha was attacked by demons in the forms of seductive females before he reached enlightenment. I wonder if he had unacknowledged wants in him at that time.

When We Judge Others We Judge Ourselves

I have yet to see a case in my practice where a client is having a problem with another where there was not an unacknowledged want. The unmet wants lead to judgement, which leads to attack. When we attack another we attack ourselves. It appears we live in a world of separate identities and dualities. In essence there is nothing out there that can hurt us. Something seems to happen externally. Are we hurt by what happened or by what we tell ourselves about it. We project our disowned shadow side onto the other and then tell ourselves that they are doing it to us.

For example, if I don’t respect myself and hate myself for that and don’t own what I’m doing, it becomes too much to hold inside and I will project it onto you and my mind will show me all the “evidence” as to how you’re not respecting me. This becomes an incredibly painful story that I call my identity, and the people I call my friends are those who agree with it.

Radical self honesty about our expectations, judgements and attacks frees us from our stories. In my experience, the judicious use of muscle testing will always reveal quickly what the truth is if you can be neutral enough to hear it.

When you remove the clouds the sun is found to be always shining.

www.holisticallyyours.org

As a Holistic Wellness counselor, I feel it’s a sacred privilege to be a partner in someone’s healing. Healing is so much about working together, trying to uncover and understand the problem, and because we’re all so different, having a variety of tools available is important.

Of the many holistic modalities – music & color therapy, aromatherapy, Reiki, to name a few. I’ve found EFT to be the most effective, and my “tool of choice” but I’ve also noticed that EFT used in conjunction with other holistic tools results in even greater benefits.

Sometimes a client isn’t ready for EFT. If they’re in a very delicate place they may need gentler nurturing first. In those cases, I hold off on EFT and start with some Reiki and Flower Essences. All three of these therapies work on the subtle energies that run through our body but they’re very different. As a client gets stronger and feels ready, I introduce EFT. It’s a matter of understanding my client and sensing what is best for them.

The Bach Flower essences address negative emotions such as shock and grief. After tapping, I’ll often recommend the appropriate flower essence for the emotion involved in our tapping. Or, perhaps a client is dealing with and tapping on self esteem issues, I’ll recommend the Flower Essence: Larch, which helps you to regain self-esteem and confidence in yourself. Flower essences compliment or enhance the EFT work.

The more we look at the whole person, the better able we can aid in their healing. We are not just our body, or just our emotions.

Understanding how our environment affects us is also a critical component to wellness. The principles of Feng Shui address our environment, so suggestions in that area are often helpful to a client. Especially a client who is feeling overwhelmed by their life or problems. Less clutter and more breathing space in their home might be what they most need. Music, Light and Color Therapies can also improve our environment and contribute to feeling better. And, the Flower Essence, Elm, helps when you feel overwhelmed or exhausted.

The biggest lesson that I’ve learned in my own healing journey and in working with clients is to be open and to utilize as many natural and gentle tools as possible. They all have their value/place in the journey. And because we can select which suits us best and use them freely, we’re empowered with tools to take good care of ourselves.

As a Holistic Wellness counselor, my goal is to assist my clients in their journey back to wholeness and wellbeing. Together we strive to replace their self limiting physical/psychic blockages in order for them to be more joyful and healthy.

www.1-eft.com

Recently, I saw a man who had been suffering from Seasonal Affective Disorder or SAD as the fascinating acronym may be, and it turned out that the reason he got sad every October was nothing to do with our planet turning merrily through its seasons, as it does, but in fact with a severe trauma that had happened to him as a teenager and the date it happened was October 11th. That was the day when “the lights went out “.

“Aha! ” I hear the psychologists cry. “Anniversary disturbance! ” Right. Like people sinking into depression on any date if it was the date their husband died, or their child, or it was the last time they ever saw a lover, or the day they retired from their beloved work.

There may or may not be a host of biochemical reasons for people becoming unwell when the weather changes, when there is a specific season, or a date, or a public holiday, but as I always say, why don’t we take the psychosomatics out first of all, and then we can see what’s left, and treat THAT with pills if necessary.

So this made me think of a lovely simple but very mindful, revealing and releasing EFT protocol – EFT Through The Seasons.

We are going to go through the months of the year, one by one, with the following opening statement, borrowed in parts from BSFF (a technique called Be Set Free Fast):

I want to heal all January disturbances to their deepest roots and I deeply and profoundly love and accept myself – NOW.

As you are tapping through the sequence of points, and as this isn’t a trauma treatment but more of an overall energy system cleaner, reversal remover, and also acts as a “cutting the energetic ties that bind us to events from the past ” exercise, I would recommend to tap as many points as you want to, including collar bone, all the finger points, third eye, both bilateral occurrences of a point and any other points or places on your body you feel needs to take part in the treatment.

The reminder phrase would be the name of the month you are treating, so in this case, January.

Keep breathing deeply and stay relaxed.

Let memories flash up and pass by as you tap gently and rhythmically, trust in the process and tap as long as you want to on a single point until it runs clear and you can feel there’s nothing left but peace and Even Flow there.

Let your intuition and feelings guide you to how many months you want to treat in a single session; one month a day for 12 days, done mindfully and well, is probably going to have the best results all over.

If you come across a major trauma along the way, don’t worry about it. Keep the round going, keep breathing deeply, stay relaxed, let it all flow along to the next memory, the next point, to the end of the session.

I personally like to end a long round of this kind of self treatment in the heart healing posture (both hands flat on the center of the chest, breathing deeply 3x, focusing on your heart center to bring the entire treatment together and have an elegant exist point.

Take a moment to reflect; if you remember a particular trauma and you feel it needs to be treated separately, make a note to give it its own session at another time, where you can give it your full attention.

I do recommend working a friend or an EFT practitioner for major trauma clearance; operating on yourself is a tricky thing and with 8 billion people on the planet, it’s really not necessary, either.

Gently work your way through all the months of the year. Some will take longer, some will be shorter to work with because nothing much significant happened that got tied into that stretch of the calendar.

It’s a truly fascinating exercise, because you get to take a look at your life in a totally different way, from a different viewpoint; and the trick with this particular protocol is to stay very relaxed, and just to observe, as the treatment does the magic at the energy levels for you.

This protocol also has another very important side effect.

Traumas, disturbances and energetic injuries that are tied to a certain time (of the year) and produce symptoms THERE, but not at any other time, by their very nature are a long time apart. Because of that, cause and effect become difficult to recognise and calculate.

I likened this to going into a wood just once a year, and striking a tree with an axe – just once.

For twenty years or so, this makes little difference; but the more often this happens, and of course, the older we get, the more Octobers there would have been, the more the tree is damaged; and eventually it will fall.

Taking out these “once a year ” reversals and injuries is a powerful prophylactic that will prevent stress disorders which can become real diseases if they go on for long enough.

This is a very intriguing, very personal protocol that can do a lot of things for you on many different levels; and it doesn’t matter if you are the owner of 20 Augusts in your time bag so far, or of 78 or more.

The EFT Through The Seasons protocol frees up your time, and your movement through time in a very interesting way. It gives you a bigger picture on your life from a new perspective, and with the disturbances cleared and hurtful ties dissolved, offers us an easy way to get back into the natural flow of the seasons more easily – and that can only be good for mind, body AND spirit.

Wishing you good health on all levels, and through the seasons.

Silvia Hartmann
