EFTfree.net promotes training and certification through the AAMET (Association for the Advancement of Meridian Energy Techniques). The AAMET is a professional association of field-experienced EFT trainers and practitioners who bring years of 1-to-1 client experience and independent scholarship to their work. AAMET guidelines for Level 1, Level 2 and Level 3 trainings are well-established and based upon the original teaching of EFT developer Gary Craig.
Since 1999, the leadership and member trainers of the AAMET, including EFT Masters and Advanced Practitioners, have been developing and teaching a step-by-step EFT curriculum that remains true to original EFT foundational and advanced skills. Practitioner certification involves not only an exam, but a case-by-case review of each person’s skills based on their experience and level of required training they have received. Certified trainers go through an equally rigorous, experience-dependent process.

Each trainer teaches the agreed-upon AAMET curriculum their own way, but the core EFT skills remain the same. Participants in an EFT training course can expect to be schooled in core EFT skills appropriate to their level, while receiving encouragement towards developing their own unique Art of Delivery.

At the beginning of the weekend I was anxious about my abilities and didn’t really think I could help others. I was terribly anxious and worried about moving to Nova Scotia. After this weekend class I am excited about a fun and easy contemplative drive (of 20+ hours). I feel like the whole world has been reopened for me. I just wanted to let you know that this last level 2 class was really a turning point for me. I used to think of EFT as a great tool, but now I realize that EFT has become the method for me – it’s a part of my thinking now in helping others shift. It’s that part of EFT that allows the practitioner to open the flow of communication while tapping – the back and forth interaction – that really clicks for me.
